The last recipe I published was a little complicated, so today I'm sharing one of my favorite simple and quick chicken dishes.
Ingredients-
1 Reynolds Oven Bag(large size)
1 4lb. chicken
1/2 bag frozen green beans
1/2 bag frozen crinkle-cut carrots
1 can mushrooms
paprika
1/2 bottle Kraft Lite House Italian salad dressing
1 bag Success Jasmine rice
- Prehat oven to 350 degrees
- Wash and pat dry chicken.
- Season on both sides with paprika and set aside.
- Open Cooking bag and place in roasting pan.
- Place all vegetables in bag and cover with 1/2 of the dressing.
- Place chicken in bag, breast side down, on top of vegetables and cover with remaining dressing.
- Close bag with fastener.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes(20 min. per lb.).
- Cook rice according to package directions.
This is one of my favorites because as the title states, you set the timer and forget dinners cooking. There's no basting or turning. The bag does it all. Of course, any vegetables can be used and any dressing or sauce will work. I love this recipe with Duck sauce too. Experiment and enjoy !!!
