I really enjoyed this unusual show starring Holly Hunter as Grace Hanadarko, a detective on the Oklahoma City Police force. She is complicated, to say the least. Her job has her battling demons on the streets, while her personal life has her battling her inner demons. She does both with the help of her "Last Chance Angel " Earl. In the final season, Grace comes to understand that a true evil has been influencing events in her life and the lives of those around her - including all those lives taken in the Oklahoma City bombing(one being her sister-Mary Francis). In the 2 part finale, she identifies him, faces him, and takes him out. Unfortunately, to accomplish her ultimate goal, Grace sacrifices her own life. In the end, Grace couldn't be saved, but she is the world's Saving Grace. The cast was amazing and had chemistry like any other dysfunctional family. A series definitely worth renting when available.
